Joseph Ruthenberg

Joseph Ruthenberg is an experienced aerospace engineer currently working at ZIN Technologies, Inc. since April 2017, where responsibilities include collaboration with NASA at the Decatur Resident Office for United Launch Alliance projects. Previous roles include Supplier Developmental Engineer and Senior Quality Engineer at Cobham Mission Systems, focusing on supplier onboarding processes and managing quality issues in aerial refueling. Joseph also held the position of Senior Quality Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, leading Root Cause Corrective Action initiatives across multiple regions. Earlier experience includes a decade at Wyle Laboratories as Quality Manager and Senior Physicist, managing quality systems and leading inspection projects, as well as work as a Physicist at Systems Research Laboratories, developing inspection techniques for critical aerospace components. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Math from Bowling Green State University.
