Josh O'Brien

Josh O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Josh currently serves as the Head of Technical Operations at Zinc Media Group, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Supervisor at ITN Productions from May 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Technician at their own company, Josh O'Brien, from December 2016 to May 2018. Josh also gained valuable experience at Pulse Films, where they worked as both a Post Production Supervisor from September 2014 to December 2016 and as a Post Production Technician from April 2012 to September 2014. Josh began their career at SilverGate Pictures Ltd. as a Post Production Supervisor and Vid-split & Data Wrangler from February 2011 to December 2012.

In 1997 to 2000, Josh attended Millfield Senior School where they obtained 9 GCSE's in subjects such as English, English Literature, Maths, Italian, Dual Award Science, IT, Art, and Religious Studies.

From 2000 to 2001, they studied at Cavendish College and received a National Diploma in Photographic & Digital Imaging.

In 2001 to 2002, Josh attended Reading Collage of Art & Design and earned HND Level 1 in Photographic & Digital Imaging.

From 2006 to 2007, they pursued Marine Science at Bay Of Plenty Polytechnic and obtained a Diploma.

In 2007 to 2008, Josh attended Auckland University of Technology to study Environmental Science and received a BSc degree.

Finally, in 2010, they attended the New Zealand Film & Television School and earned a Certificate in Film & Television Production.
