Glenn Kates

Glenn Kates has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Glenn is currently working at Zinc Network as a Portfolio Director, overseeing large media development programs and implementing innovative ideas for the development sector. Prior to that, they were self-employed as an Editor, Journalist, and Consultant, where they produced successful documentary podcast and video series, provided consultations to independent media outlets, and conducted workshops on digital storytelling. Glenn also worked at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty as a Managing Editor and Digital Editor, at The New York Times as an Alfa Fellow, at Voice of America as a Program Coordinator, at Broadcasting Board of Governors as a Program and Policy Analyst, at Georgetown Public Policy Review as a Managing Editor, and at The Urban Institute as a Research Intern.

Glenn Kates completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Binghamton University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Glenn later pursued higher education at Georgetown University, earning a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree in Public Policy Analysis from 2005 to 2007.
