Wakana Fujisawa

Wakana Fujisawa is currently a Visiting Fellow at Zinc, focusing on supporting a cohort of founders to develop scalable businesses addressing societal challenges. Previously, Wakana served as Head of Project Delivery at GSMA, leading a team through 35+ projects across global regions and driving corporate transformation initiatives. Other notable roles at GSMA included Portfolio Director for Marketing, where Wakana partnered with the CMO to streamline operations and reduce costs, and Programme Director for External Affairs, championing a global strategy for the mobile industry's commitment to Sustainable Development Goals. With a career spanning various project management positions in telecommunications and technology, Wakana has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. Wakana's educational background includes a BSc in Information Management from UCL.
