GM, Power Projects at Zinfra

David joined Zinfra in 2020 as a key member of the Zinfra Leadership Team to deliver Zinfra’s growth strategy. He led cross-business initiatives to optimise Zinfra’s project execution and delivery methodology and to ensure that we are positioned to achieve our mission to be the trusted partner to the energy infrastructure industry.

David has 15 years’ management and engineering experience in industrial construction - primarily in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of major energy facilities throughout Australia. He has experience at all stages of the project life-cycle in utility-scale power-stations, HV interconnectors, wind-farms and natural gas transmission and processing facilities. He has held senior project development and business management roles in businesses in Australia, Ireland and the USA. He has a B.Eng (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin, M.Eng (D.E.A) from ENSMA (University of Poitiers, France), and an MBA from AGSM at UNSW.

Recently, David led the project management on behalf of Jemena for the delivery of the Phillip Creek Compressor Station as part of the successful Northern Gas Pipeline project - linking the Northern Territory gas fields with the East Coast Gas Network. The project involved the engineering, procurement and construction of a A$200m+ gas processing and compression facility at Tennant Creek, NT and incorporated cryogenic removal of nitrogen from natural gas.
