Berenice F. has a diverse range of work experience. Berenice is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer at Zinnia TV, where they develop and manages all content, focusing on supporting people living with dementia and their care partners. Prior to this, Berenice worked as a Creative Lead at Design Plant, where they created multimedia content and performed various tasks such as writing, video editing, and website builds. Berenice also has experience in writing, editing, and radio work, having worked for organizations such as McSweeney's, SF International Film Festival, KALW public radio, and The Believer. Additionally, Berenice has previous experience as a Copywriter at Veer, a Communications Specialist at the City of Calgary, a Marketing Assistant at EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, and an Arts and Lifestyle Journalist for various print publications. Berenice had an editorial role as the Editor, Arts & Film at The Georgia Straight (Calgary edition), where they managed freelance writers and photographers, edited sections of the entertainment weekly, and wrote feature articles.

Berenice F. began their educational journey in 2001 at the University of Victoria, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Writing. Berenice completed their undergraduate studies in 2004. Following this, in 2009, Berenice obtained a Certificate in Fiction from Simon Fraser University's Writer's Studio. Continuing their academic pursuits, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the California College of the Arts, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing.
