William Gulfan

William Gulfan has had a varied and extensive work experience. From 2006 to 2020, they have worked for HSBC, Convergys, Zintro, and Tropical Innovative School of Excellence, Inc.

At HSBC, they worked as a Customer Service Representative, where they were a senior member of the Cards Specialist Team and processed monetary transfers to a variety of bank accounts.

At Convergys, they worked as a Product-Specific Trainer and Customer Service Representative. As a Product-Specific Trainer, they trained new-hired employees of the company's client's product specifics, along with the basic call-handling skills necessary. As a Customer Service Representative, they handled both inbound calls for the Sprint clients and both inbound and outbound calls for AT&T clients, and analyzed and resolved billing and usage disputes, and other relevant customer complaints.

At Zintro, they worked as a Research Analyst, where they engaged with thousands of industry experts for project assistance or consultations on the Zintro platform.

At Tropical Innovative School of Excellence, Inc., they worked as a Principal, Senior Faculty Member, Administrative Officer, and Guidance Counselor. As a Senior Faculty Member, they co-planned and organized various school events, taught English and Literature for Grade 7 to Grade 10, Philosophy and Basic Psychology for Grade 11 and 12, and coached for oratorical competitions on a regional level. As an Administrative Officer, they spearheaded the school's online learning program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, revised the school policy, formulated the guidelines for students and teachers, and conducted risk assessment. As a Guidance Counselor, they administered, interpreted, and documented various psychological tests such as the OEII Emotions Quotient Test and the MBTI, conducted interviews and background checks for student transferees, and conducted seminars and consultations on career pathing.

William Gulfan started their educational journey in 2002 when they attended De La Salle University - Dasmariñas and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2006. William then returned to the same university in 2012 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Master of Education degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor in 2015.
