Tony Kang

Tony Kang has a strong background in IT support and technical roles. Tony is currently working as a Technical Support Engineer at Zip Co, where they manage IT systems globally, administers various platforms including MS Azure and O365, and supports Atlassian products. Prior to this, they worked as a Desktop (Mac) Support Analyst at Tyro Payments and as a Second Level IT Support at Ecolab and IBM. Tony has also gained experience at The Salvation Army Australia and Philip Morris International as an IT Support Analyst and Infrastructure Support Analyst, respectively. Earlier in their career, they served as a Desktop Support Team Lead at IBM, a Software Engineer at LG CNS, and had an internship as an IT Support Assistant at GRUNDFOS. Tony also has a background in telecommunications, having served as a Telecommunications Specialist during their military duty at Korea Defence Intelligence Command.

Tony Kang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering from Korea University, where they studied from 1997 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. These include being a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, which they obtained from Microsoft in June 2022. Tony also holds certifications such as JAMF 300 (Certified Casper Administrator): Apple Mac OS & iOS from Jamf in March 2018, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in December 2017, and MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - Certified 2016 from Microsoft in September 2016. Other certifications Tony has achieved include JAMF 200 (Certified Casper Technician): Apple Mac OS & iOS from Jamf in June 2016, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 - Certified 2016 from Microsoft in December 2013, PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute in August 2011, and ITIL V3 from EXIN in January 2007. Additionally, Tony Kang holds a driver's license from the Road & Maritime Services in NSW, Australia.
