Peter Collins

Peter Collins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Peter'smost recent position is as the VP of Product Design at Zipline.io, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Advisory Board Member at Atidia since January 2021. From 2018, Peter was a member of the InVision Global Design Leadership Forum, where they contributed to advancing design leadership practices and creating an inclusive community.

Peter has held various leadership positions at SEEK, a job search platform. Peter served as the Head of Product Design, APAC from June 2020 to July 2022, and previously as the Head of Design, AU/NZ from April 2019 to June 2020. Additionally, Peter worked at Arq Group as the Executive Director of Product Innovation from November 2017 to April 2019.

Peter's experience also includes mentoring early-stage ventures through the CSIRO ON Prime Accelerator as a Design Mentor. Peter provided guidance on validating research, developing value propositions, identifying customer bases, and assessing commercial readiness and paths to market. Peter held this role at CSIRO from December 2017 to November 2019.

Prior to that, Peter held leadership positions at Outware Mobile, where they served as the Head of Product Design from May 2015 to December 2017. Peter also worked as the Principal Experience Designer from August 2014 to October 2016, and as the Senior Experience Designer from March 2012 to August 2014.

Peter's earlier experience includes working as an Experience Designer at Sputnik Agency from 2011 to 2012. Peter also worked in software project management roles at Turner & Townsend from 2007 to 2010 and at Mouchel from 2005 to 2007.

Peter Collins completed their undergraduate education from 2001 to 2004 at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School. Peter earned a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science & Business Studies during this time. In 2011, Peter attended AWARD School and achieved a Top 10 National placement, though the specific field of study is not provided.
