Elliot Owen

Elliot Owen has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Elliot is currently working as a Battery Mechanical Engineer at Zipline, focusing on the development of batteries for future transportation. Prior to this, Elliot was the Founder and CTO at Electric Era, where they led a technical team in innovating continuous charging infrastructure and high-power storage systems. Elliot also worked at SpaceX as an Associate Engineer-Post Grad, contributing to the qualification campaigns and material development for structural components. Additionally, Elliot gained experience at Tesla as a Battery Engineering Systems Intern, where they conducted investigations and experiments on critical battery welds. Elliot also interned at Hyperloop One, where they designed cooling systems for power electronics testing, and at SpaceX as a Production Test Automation Intern, where they implemented cost-saving measures and improved workholding solutions.

Elliot Owen completed their education in a chronological manner. Elliot attended Crystal Springs Uplands School from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their high school education. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2014 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, Elliot continued their education at MIT to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2018 to 2020.
