Justin Gong has a diverse range of work experience in technology and engineering. Justin most recently worked at Zipline as a Systems Engineer starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were an Avionics Engineer at ABL Space Systems from May 2021 to October 2022. Justin also has experience at Millennium Space Systems, where they served as Lead Spacecraft RF & Communications Engineer from August 2020 to May 2021, and as a Spacecraft RF & Communications Engineer from August 2018 to August 2020. Justin has also worked as a Flight Systems Engineer Intern at Hedron from May 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from September 2015 to June 2017, and as a Technical Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation from May 2016 to August 2016. Justin has also held positions as an Undergraduate Researcher at Zero Robotics, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at MIT Department of Physics, and an Intern at SMPL Technologies.
Justin Gong attended Garden City High School for an unspecified period of time, but did not obtain a degree or declare a field of study there. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, Justin obtained a certification in Aerospace Project Management from Caltech.
