Stephen Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Stephen is currently working at Zipline as the Head of International Aviation Regulatory Affairs since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Global Aviation Regulatory Affairs at Zipline from April 2021 to September 2021.

Before joining Zipline, Stephen worked at The Wicks Group from May 2019 to April 2021 as a Director. Stephen led the implementation of international aviation consulting projects for foreign government and airline clients, managed a team of 11 consultants, and directed business development initiatives.

From March 2018 to May 2019, Stephen was a Senior Analyst-Consultant at The Wicks Group, where they successfully implemented technical assistance consulting projects for the governments of India and Panama. Stephen marketed firm services to foreign civil aviation authorities and air carriers.

Stephen also has experience working at PublicRelay as an Account Manager from July 2015 to September 2016, where they analyzed and presented on media relations ROI for Fortune 100 and 500 clients.

Additionally, Stephen worked at George Washington University from August 2014 to May 2015. Stephen held the roles of Resident Advisor (RA) and Lead Supervisor, where they recruited and trained a 240-person student staff, coordinated security coverage for multiple buildings, and wrote the department's standard operating procedures.

Stephen started their career as a Public Policy and Regulation Intern at Holland & Knight LLP from May 2014 to February 2015. Stephen also had a legislative internship at the United States Senate from May 2013 to August 2013.

Lastly, Stephen gained valuable experience as a Senior Aide to the President & Volunteer Representative at Guatemala North Mission from July 2010 to August 2012.

Stephen Nelson attended The George Washington University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Communication, earning a magna cum laude distinction.
