Brian Blair, MSHRM has a diverse range of work experience spanning several roles and industries. Brian currently serves as the Director of Talent, Compensation, and Organizational Development at Zippo Manufacturing Company. Prior to this role, Brian was the Talent Acquisition Manager & Compensation Analyst for Zippo Manufacturing Company, W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company, and Northern Lights Candles.

Brian's earlier experience includes their roles as a Senior Coordinator and Coordinator for the Cooperative Education & Professional Practice Program at The University of Alabama. Brian began their higher education journey in 2007 at Enterprise State Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies in 2009. Brian then transferred to Troy University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Science Education, graduating in 2011.

In 2014, Brian continued their education at The University of Alabama, where they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Higher Education Administration in 2016. During this time, they also obtained a certificate in College Teaching from The University of Alabama.

Brian further boosted their educational qualifications by enrolling in Troy University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management, which they anticipate completing in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Brian has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they earned a certification in Social Science Education from the Alabama State Department of Education. More recently, in January 2022, Brian completed two online courses: "Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners" and "Level Up Your Remote Team Experience," both offered through LinkedIn.
