Director Of Engineering, Customer Lifecycle at Zipwhip

Alan Capps has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Alan began their career in 2002 as a Helper Clerk at Safeway, where they worked until 2005. In 2005, they joined Microsoft as a QA Tester through a consultancy called Volt. From 2006 to 2011, Alan worked at AT&T, starting as a QE Tester and eventually becoming a QE Test Lead. During this time, they managed a team of testers and successfully completed various consumer-facing projects. In 2011, they joined Zipwhip as a Program Manager, overseeing projects until 2014 when they transitioned to the role of Solutions Engineer. In 2016, Alan became a Software Engineer Integration and later a Solutions Architect in 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering, Customer Lifecycle at Zipwhip since October 2018.

Alan Capps obtained their High School Degree from Cedarcrest in the years 1999 to 2003, with an emphasis on Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at Bellevue College from 2003 to 2006, where they completed an AA degree in General studies.
