Matt LeRoi

Matt LeRoi has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Matt most recently worked at Zitara as a Test Engineering / Operations Manager. Prior to that, they served as a Systems Team Lead at FORME, where they led the testing effort for the first manufacturing run of an electromechanical resistance machine. Matt also managed test machine design and build, as well as the functional testing of all units at the manufacturer in Taiwan.

Before FORME, Matt was a Sr Test Engineer at Lucid Motors, where they designed and built test equipment and fixtures for drivetrain testing. Matt also updated the high voltage safety system. Prior to that, they worked at IronRidge as a Senior Test Engineer, leading the evaluation, testing, and launch of new products. Matt successfully certified and released multiple product lines.

Matt also has experience at Hexcel, where they served as the Test Methods Engineering Leader and managed complex aerospace qualification projects. Matt designed test fixtures and led a team of engineers and technicians. Matt also worked in technical sales at Hexcel before transitioning to engineering.

Earlier in their career, Matt was an Energy Engineer at Prenova, where they analyzed energy expenditure and utility usage for Gap, Inc. stores. Matt created models to track utility usage and identify cost savings. Matt also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Atmel, where they installed and maintained testing machinery and developed procedures.

Overall, Matt has a diverse background in engineering, testing, and project management across multiple industries, including automotive, renewable energy, composites, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Matt LeRoi has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Matt also holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
