Peter Chea

Peter Chea is a software engineer who currently works at Zitara. Prior to their current position, they worked as a lead front end engineer at dotData and as a web developer and architect at Arrow Electronics.

At dotData, Peter led a US-based front end team that worked with teams in Europe. Peter was also involved in the full product lifecycle, including the specification process, UX design, tech design, and cross-team communication. Additionally, they debugged and improved performance on various parts of the applications. Finally, they contributed to company processes, such as the task flow, testing, and translation platform.

At Arrow Electronics, Peter was the primary front end developer of an E-Commerce single page application. Peter implemented Optimizely for A/B testing to improve user experience and integrated client side NewRelic javascript error tracking and api performance tracking to catch bugs early and improve performance. Additionally, they integrated Google analytic and Google Tag Manager for enhanced ecommerce tracking to help make better data-driven business decisions. Finally, they worked with DevOps to implement Akamai assets caching to improve load time performance and increase SEO ranking.
