Florencia Petrikovich has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Florencia began their career as an English Teacher at Bell House in 2017. In 2019, they joined ITBA Computer Society as a Logistics Member, where they trained over 1000 university students and professionals in Git and provided guidance to aspiring interns.

In 2020, Florencia completed a three-month internship at Meta (Facebook), where they worked on backend, frontend, and testing. Florencia developed an automated testing framework for web and mobile visual components and created comprehensive documentation for successful adoption by internal teams.

Following their internship, Florencia joined Tienda Dólar as a Back End Developer in 2021. Here, they designed and implemented a REST API for a new product using Express, TypeScript, and MongoDB. Florencia also collaborated with the front-end team to establish requirements and implemented new functionalities. Florencia then moved on to Meta again, this time as a Software Engineer Intern, where they worked on backend, frontend, and testing to create infrastructure for data collection used in machine learning models. Florencia integrated the new infrastructure and reduced the data collection setup time by over 90%.

In 2021, Florencia joined TiendaCrypto, a cryptocurrency exchange startup backed by YCombinator, as a Back End Developer. Florencia engineered cryptocurrency bundles to facilitate quick and beginner-friendly transactions and built a metric system to improve system observability.

Most recently, Florencia will be joining ZOE as a Software Engineer in 2023.

Florencia Petrikovich pursued their education in the field of computer software engineering. Florencia began their academic journey at Carol Morgan School from 2008 to 2013. Following that, they attended Lincoln International High School from 2013 to 2016. Florencia then enrolled at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2016 to 2020. Continuing their education at the same institution, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Florencia obtained certifications in "Learning Docker" and "Learning Kubernetes" from LinkedIn in February 2023.
