Julien Lavigne du Cadet

Julien Lavigne du Cadet has a diverse and extensive work experience. Julien is currently the VP of Engineering at ZOE since October 2019. In this role, they have grown the tech team significantly, led the successful launch of the company's nutrition product, and spearheaded the development of the COVID symptom tracker. Julien also played a key role in adopting remote work practices during the pandemic.

Before joining ZOE, from November 2015 to October 2019, Julien worked as an Engineering Manager at G-Research. Julien led data platform teams and implemented modern management and engineering practices, delivering high-volume data to research and trading platforms.

Prior to that, Julien was a Staff Dev Lead at Criteo from March 2014 to November 2015. Julien led a team in building Criteo's analytics and campaign management platform and introduced new technologies to the company's platform.

Julien's earlier experiences include working as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect at ABC arbitrage Asset Management from January 2009 to February 2014. During this time, they introduced messaging and distributed architecture to the company's systems and led the adoption of NoSQL technologies.

Julien also had brief stints as a CTO at Leetchi in 2008 and Kaalys from 2002 to 2005. Julien started their career as a Software Engineer at Orbis Investment Advisory Limited in 2007.

Overall, Julien has a strong background in technology leadership, team management, and implementing innovative solutions in various industries.

Julien Lavigne du Cadet completed their postgraduate studies in Computer Sciences at SUPINFO from 2002 to 2007. In 2007, they also attended the Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they studied Principles of Accounting.
