Sabrina Evans

Sabrina Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in tech and social innovation. Sabrina currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at ZOE since 2022. Prior to that, Sabrina was a Scholar at Academy, where they underwent training in full-stack development and was subsequently placed in leading tech companies.

Sabrina also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at bloop, contributing to the development and maintenance of the search functionality. Additionally, Sabrina served as a Tech Consultant at Curo Carers, where they ran design sprints, tested designs, and developed algorithms.

Their previous roles include being a No-code Developer at nestful, supporting the development team in building a home-sharing platform, and being the Founder of Kitchio, an AI recipe recommender service.

Sabrina has also been involved in social innovation, working as a Social Innovation Consultant for Camden Council and as an Innovation Fellow for the Let's go Southall program. Sabrina was globally recognized as a Global Talent at UNLEASH, where they developed a community asset-mapping platform.

Lastly, Sabrina was the Head of AI Discussion Group at Yale Effective Altruism, facilitating conversations on AI safety and ethics. Through their various roles, Sabrina has demonstrated their expertise in tech, innovation, and social impact.

Sabrina Evans completed their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Yale University from 2015 to 2019. Sabrina then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Innovation at Year Here from 2019 to 2020. As a visiting student in 2017, Sabrina spent a brief period at the University of Oxford, focusing on Mathematics. Prior to that, they attended King Edward VI School in Stratford-upon-Avon from 2012 to 2015, where they excelled in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, French, and German. In addition, Sabrina obtained the Duolingo Italian Fluency: Intermediate Certification from Duolingo in June 2016.
