Michael Stegemann

Michael Stegemann serves as the Executive Director at Zoetis, leading Global Clinical Development, Statistics, and Data Management since February 2013, following a tenure as Senior Director overseeing EU Clinical Development. Previously, Michael held several roles at Pfizer Animal Health from November 2000 to January 2013, including Senior Director, Director of Global Therapeutic Area, Global Project Team Leader, and Clinical Project Manager. Michael’s career began at Bayer Animal Health, where responsibilities spanned from Clinical Manager to Head of Laboratory, focusing on the clinical development of new anti-infectives and anti-parasiticides for both companion animals and livestock from August 1991 to October 2000. Michael's educational background includes a certified veterinarian degree from Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover and a Dr. med. vet. in Microbiology from the same institution.
