Weili Yang

Weili Yang is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Zoetis since September 2023. Prior roles include a Scientist and Associate Scientist at Charles River Laboratories from October 2018, and an Associate Scientist at MPI Research from April 2016 to October 2018. Additionally, Weili Yang worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2015 under the supervision of Dr. John B and earned a Ph.D. in Biology from Western University between 2002 and 2006, supervised by Dr. Mark A. Earlier research experience includes a position as a Research Associate at the Center for Natural Products, Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where Weili Yang focused on enzymatic production of gallic acid from Aspergillus niger, successfully isolating high-activity tannase strains and purifying gallic acid.
