Martín Dran

Martín Dran has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they were an Assistant Teacher at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. In 2016, they worked as a High School Teacher at Colegio Presencia. From 2018 to 2019, they were a PhD Fellow in Physics at the Centro Atómico Bariloche, where they conducted theoretical research, modeling and numerical simulations of interactions in semiconductor structures, as well as optic and opto-mechanic setups for experimentation of ultrafast spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Data Engineer at redbee Studios, where they worked on backend development of data pipelines and ETL for machine learning algorithms in e-commerce recommendation systems. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Engineer at ZoomAgri, where they work on the design and development of Machine Learning life cycle projects using data processing, deep learning and computer vision tools for solving estimation of varietal purity and commercial quality in samples of agricultural commodities.

Martín Dran has a Licenciatura in Ciencias físicas from the University of Buenos Aires, which they obtained in 2017. Martín is currently pursuing a PhD at the Instituto Balseiro.
