Oliver deGeest

Oliver deGeest has extensive work experience in the legal field. Oliver currently serves as the General Counsel & Company Secretary at Zoomo since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Legal at SafetyCulture from October 2019 to November 2022. Oliver also worked as a Counsel at IBM from February 2019 to October 2019, and as the General Counsel at Absolute Software from February 2014 to February 2019. Before transitioning to in-house roles, they worked as an Attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from May 2007 to October 2012 and as a Lawyer at Lawson Lundell LLP from 2005 to 2007.

Oliver deGeest completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at The University of British Columbia from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a degree in law and attended the University of Sydney in 2003 and 2004. Oliver then furthered their legal education at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree.
