Savitha Swami

Savitha Swami has extensive work experience in the legal field. Currently, they are serving as the Head Of Legal & CoSec at Zoomo since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Barrister at Frederick Jordan Chambers from August 2017 to August 2021, where they provided legal services in various areas including criminal law, family law, commercial law, intellectual property, data security, privacy, and public regulatory law.

Savitha also worked as a Solicitor at Jenny Beck Law from January 2017 to October 2017. Before that, they held roles at NSW Crown Solicitor's Office as a Solicitor specializing in Industrial Relations and Employment Law from September 2015 to December 2016. Savitha also worked as an Admitted Paralegal specializing in Commercial Litigation and Property from October 2014 to August 2015.

Earlier in their career, Savitha worked as a Junior Lawyer at LegalVision Australia from March 2014 to October 2014. Savitha also gained experience as a Law Clerk at Trust Chambers from September 2013 to January 2014 and as a Paralegal at Refugee Advice and Casework Service from August 2013 to October 2013.

Savitha Swami completed their Bachelor of Law and International Studies at St George High School from 2002 to 2007. Savitha then pursued a Bachelor of International Studies and Law at Macquarie University, where they studied from 2008 to 2014. In 2009, they also obtained a Diploma in Spanish Language and Culture from Universidad de Alcalá. During their studies, Savitha participated in a Semester Exchange in Law at Charles University in 2013. Savitha further enhanced their legal knowledge by completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law Australia in 2014.
