Kahliah Laney

Kahliah Laney has extensive experience in communications and strategic advisory roles. Kahliah most recently worked as the Director of Communications at ZoomCare since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Internal Communications Manager at MultiCare Health System where they developed and executed strategic communication programs for human resources from April 2021 to March 2022. From July 2020 to April 2021, Kahliah was the Internal Communications Manager at Virginia Mason Medical Center where they advised executives on communication initiatives and managed content creation for the organization's intranet. Before joining Virginia Mason, Kahliah worked as a Communications Director at Strategies 360 from February 2018 to July 2020, providing strategic direction to clients and managing various communication projects. Kahliah also has experience as a Communications Specialist at NYU Langone Health from December 2014 to January 2018, where they developed and executed internal and external communication strategies for IT projects. Additionally, Kahliah worked as a Production Secretary at ABC News and as a Research Associate at the Center for an Urban Future. Kahliah Laney holds a Master of Arts degree in Journalism from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at UC Davis, Kahliah pursued a double major in English and Sociology.
