Falk Husemann

Falk Husemann has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and networking. Falk is currently working at zooplus as the Vice President of Core Platforms & Services. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Core Platforms & Services at zooplus. Before joining zooplus, Falk worked at Schwarz IT KG as the Team Leader for Networking & Security. Falk also had a brief stint at Lidl Digital as the Team Leader for IT Networking & Security and as a Consultant in the same domain. Falk's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant in Information Security at Lidl in Deutschland. Falk began their career as a Freelance IT Consultant at Paketsequenz, where they primarily focused on IP networking, network and system administration, firewall planning and penetration testing. Falk also worked as a Student Assistant at Technische Universität Dortmund, where they gained experience in network security and IT operations.

Falk Husemann graduated from TU Dortmund University in 2014 with a degree in Informatik (Diplom-Informatiker). Falk also holds additional certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org (obtained in 2020), Architecting with Google Cloud Platform: Infrastructure, Networking in Google Cloud Platform, and Security in Google Cloud Platform from ROI Training (all obtained in 2019), Anerkannter und zertifizierter Sachverständiger für IT-Sicherheit from Deutscher Gutachter und Sachverständigen Verband e.V.
