Giulia Smonker

Giulia Smonker is an accomplished professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as R&D Manager at Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies since September 2022. Prior to this role, Giulia led the Quality Performance Lab at EssilorLuxottica, overseeing a team of 10 and managing test validation and performance testing for new products from January 2020 to August 2022. Giulia's experience at Luxottica included positions as Research Manager for Sun Lenses and R&D Project Manager focusing on new materials and processes for eyewear applications. Earlier career experiences also include internships at OSRAM and Fischer Italia in R&D and product design, respectively. Giulia holds an Executive Master in Project Management from GEMA Business School and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Materials Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Padova.
