Afshin Amiri

Afshin Amiri is an experienced data professional with a diverse background in data science, data engineering, and leadership roles. Currently serving as Data Team Lead at Zitel, Afshin focuses on designing a sophisticated data platform involving continuous integration and analysis workflows. Previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Zown, achieving high accuracy in house price predictions using Azure ML. As Founder and CEO of FractoCrypto, Afshin developed a data-oriented trading platform. Experience also includes leading data teams at Ostadkar.ir and FractoCrypto, conducting freelance work in data science education, and making significant contributions as a Data Scientist at various companies, notably developing a Loyalty Program Engine and fraud detection modules. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Tehran and a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Sharif University of Technology.
