Leo Kuznetsov has worked in the software engineering industry since 2002. Leo began their career as a Member of Technical Staff at Wind River Systems, where they designed and implemented a debugger subsystem for GDB and Wind River proprietary DFW. In 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Google and a Senior Software Engineer (team lead) at Blurb, where they designed and implemented the original version of BookSmart application for Windows and Macintosh platforms. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Mobile Software Architecture Consultant at AT&T Interactive and a Senior Software Consultant at Dolby Laboratories, where they helped the Dolby Advanced Research group to bring signal processing and image enhancement IP to Android mobile platforms. From 2009 to 2021, they worked as a Software Architect at ClickStar, a Software Architect at MePlease, and a Principal Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Lead Software Engineer at zSpace, Inc. During their time at Facebook, they worked on projects at Meta Reality Labs on a range of Oculus products, including reimplementing the WiFi Supplicant for use with a new async runtime, fixing data racing and deadlocks in the code, and implementing code for collection of battery telemetry. Currently, they are a Lead Software Engineer at zSpace, Inc., where they are implementing portable infrastructure for zSpace tracking solutions for embedded and mobile devices.

Leo Kuznetsov obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 1980 and 1985.
