Nils Torstein Øvstetun

Nils Torstein Øvstetun is an experienced software engineer, having worked in various roles since 2007. Nils Torstein began their career as a Consultant at NSA AS, then moved to EVRY ASA in 2009, where they worked as a Senior Consultant in the eHelse/eHealth department and then as a Senior Consultant in software development and integration/SOA. In 2017, they joined Experis Norway, where they held the roles of Nasjonal Fagleder Utvikling, Fagleder Utvikling, and Fagleder Java Praksis. In their roles at Experis Norway, they were responsible for leading and coordinating work within the practice, ensuring practice work in accordance with Ciber Experis' strategy and plans, and providing guidance to colleagues within the practice. In 2021, they joined ZTL Payment Solution as a Software Engineer.

Nils Torstein Øvstetun obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Agder (UiA) between 2002 and 2005. Nils Torstein then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2005 to 2007. In October 2007, they obtained the Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certification from Sun. In October 2008, they obtained the Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate certification from Oracle.
