Meredith Ferguson has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Meredith has held various roles including Strategy Director at Zulu Alpha Kilo Inc. and The Hive. Additionally, they have worked as a Freelance Strategy Director and Writer. Prior to that, they were the Director of Marketing and Communications at Michael Garron Hospital, where they developed a successful brand platform. Meredith has also worked at Children's Aid Foundation of Canada and SickKids Foundation, where they played key roles in strategic communications and fundraising.
Meredith Ferguson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and Culture from Western University, which they pursued from 2002 to 2006. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Toronto and obtained a Master's degree in Information Studies (MISt) from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Meredith Ferguson has also acquired several additional certifications. In August 2021, they obtained a certification in Applied Behavioral Science from Ogilvy, and in July 2021, they received a certification in Behavioral Economics, also from Ogilvy. Most recently, in December 2022, they became a Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner through the Center for Sustainability and Excellence - CSE.
