Claire Burke

Claire Burke serves as the Head of Applied Science at Zulu Ecosystems since April 2024. Previously, Claire held positions as the Head of Ecosystem Science at natcap and Director of Science at Climate X, leading initiatives on regulatory compliance in nature and finance, scientific tool development, and maintaining scientific standards. With a diverse background in data science and ecological applications, Claire has experience in developing Bayesian optimization algorithms, remote sensing systems, and interdisciplinary partnerships. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Astrophysics from Liverpool John Moores University and an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics from The University of Manchester. Claire's expertise encompasses applications of astrophysics to environmental challenges and climate risk assessment.
