James Bartlett

James Bartlett is a communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and photography. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for Massachusetts State Senator Joan B since March 2024, James has also worked as a contract photographer for ZUMA Press since October 2021, covering political events and news stories. Previous roles include an Office Administrative Assistant at Newton Housing Authority, a Client Support Specialist at Harbor Sweets, and a Reporter at Essex Media Group, where James produced numerous news stories for a major city. Other experience includes internships and positions at GBH News, Suffolk University, and 7 NEWS, WHDH-TV, demonstrating a strong foundation in media production and editorial work. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Suffolk University.
