Scott Chernis

Scott Chernis is a seasoned portrait photographer and owner of Scott Chernis Photography, with a career spanning from 1995 to the present. Specializing in capturing high-quality images across various domains, including corporate events, live music, and educational outreach, Scott Chernis has built a reputation for making subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera. In addition to managing a successful photography business, Scott contributes as a freelance photographer for the San Francisco Travel Association and serves as a contract photographer for SFJAZZ, documenting concerts and educational programs. Other notable roles include photography for Contra Costa Community College District and serving as head photographer for Slow Food Nation's inaugural national event. Scott's diverse experience includes providing photographic coverage for the Jamaican Bobsled team at the Olympics. Scott Chernis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Tulane University.
