Bryan Sheddy

Bryan Sheddy has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Bryan currently works at Zuora as a Principal Software Engineer, where they lead the development of Central Sandbox, a successful add-on product generating multi-million dollar revenue. Bryan is responsible for overseeing the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) for multiple key components of Zuora's Test Environment stack. Bryan also mentors new engineers and promotes best practices in design, implementation, and testing.

Prior to Zuora, Bryan worked at Millennium Health as a Senior Software Engineer. Bryan played a leading role in creating and building microservices and front-end systems for a lab information system in AWS. Bryan spearheaded the implementation of a Kafka service, enabling asynchronous communication and providing valuable analytical data. Bryan also developed a yeoman generator to streamline the creation of microservices.

Before Millennium Health, Bryan was employed at Arena Pharmaceuticals. As a Manager Software Engineering, they led a team in designing, developing, and deploying various business process web applications using Scrum and Agile practices. These applications encompassed areas such as purchasing, FDA validation, electronic workflow forms, and employee management. Bryan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Arena Pharmaceuticals, where they contributed to the development of new applications utilizing a custom template framework.

Early in their career, Bryan worked at SAIC as a Software Engineer. Bryan was involved in designing, developing, and maintaining the Immune Epitope Database, a web-based application built using J2EE and PHP. Bryan leveraged the Spring and Struts framework in developing manager methods to facilitate communication between data access objects and actions.
