Obaid Ur-Rahmaan

Obaid Ur-Rahmaan has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Obaid is currently working as a Software Engineer at Zuora since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Vonage as a Full-Stack Software Engineer from September 2022 to April 2023, and as a Back-End Software Engineer from August 2020 to August 2022. Before joining Vonage, Obaid had an internship at Bright Network as a Technology Intern in July 2020, where they attended seminars and successfully completed a mini-project on various aspects of technology. Obaid also has experience as a Member of the Final Stage Talent Network from September 2019 to February 2020, where they bypassed standard assessments and gained fast-tracked access to hiring managers of big companies. Additionally, Obaid had an internship at stickee as a Software Engineering Intern in 2019, where they worked on the leading market intelligence engine and gained experience in PHP, Git, Linux, Bash, and web-scraping. Obaid also served as a Java Demonstrator at the University of Birmingham from October 2018 to March 2019, where they assisted students in becoming proficient in Java development. Furthermore, they had an internship at Huawei Technologies in 2018, where they received intensive training in networking, telecommunications, 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies, as well as gained insight into 5G technology.

Obaid Ur-Rahmaan attended Aston University Engineering Academy from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their GCSE's and A-Levels. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham in 2017 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2020.
