Gordana Scielzo

Gordana Scielzo serves as the Risk Academy Lead and People Initiatives for Group Risk Transformation and Operations at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, a position held since November 2012. In this role, Scielzo leads various people priorities including the development of competency frameworks, mentoring, and onboarding programs, while advising on training design and facilitating transformation and change management efforts. Previously, roles included delivering strategic support within the Chief Risk Officer's office, enhancing learning and development initiatives, and managing projects in the Group Chief of Staff Office. Prior to Zurich, Scielzo worked as a Project Manager at Bluewaters Environmental Consultants, directing projects for public and private sectors and representing the company at professional events. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Administration from WU Vienna and a degree in Economics from the University of Zagreb.
