Adam Roegiest

Adam Roegiest has a diverse work experience in the field of research and technology. Adam is currently serving as the VP Research & Technology at Zuva since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Kira Systems from 2016 to 2021. At Kira Systems, Adam held various roles including Director of Research, Research Scientist Manager, and Research Scientist. Their responsibilities involved investigating and refining methods to identify and extract relevant information from legal documents, as well as productizing improvements. Adam also acted as a key point of contact for other teams, providing insights into how machine learning solutions could be tailored for customers. Before joining Kira Systems, Adam briefly served as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Waterloo in 2019.

Adam Roegiest completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the University of Waterloo from 2006 to 2010. Adam then pursued a Master of Mathematics degree in Computer Science specializing in Information Retrieval at the same institution from 2010 to 2012. Adam continued their educational journey at the University of Waterloo and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science with a focus on Information Retrieval from 2012 to 2017.
