Matt Cote

Matt Cote has over 15 years of work experience in the software development field. Matt is currently working at Zuva as a Software Development Manager, where they lead a team in implementing AI technology and tools for document analysis. Prior to joining Zuva, Matt worked at Kira Systems as a Senior Software Developer. Matt has also held positions at IBM, where they worked as an Advisory Software Developer and later as a Staff Software Developer. In addition, Matt has experience at Intelex Technologies Inc. as a Technical Lead and Web Developer, and at Canadian Tire as a Programmer Analyst.

Matt Cote attended Sheridan College from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Computer Science Technology. Matt did not obtain a degree during their time there.

In terms of certifications, Matt obtained several throughout the years. In 2016, they completed the "Algorithmic Toolbox" course through Coursera, focused on machine learning. In 2018, they obtained multiple certifications, including "IBM Blockchain Essentials" and "IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer" from IBM, as well as "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM. Matt also completed courses on "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Microservices - Fundamentals" through Coursera in November and December 2018. In 2019, they obtained certifications for "Developing and Deploying Microservices with Microclimate" and "IBM Cloud Private: Deploying Microservices with Kubernetes" from Coursera. Matt's latest certification is "Become an Effective Software Engineering Manager" from Educative, Inc., which they obtained in February 2023.
