Steve McLaughlin

Steve McLaughlin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Steve currently serves as the COO of ZXP Technologies since February 2020. Prior to that, they held several roles at BP, including Global Manufacturing Excellence Director, Americas Regional Manufacturing Director, and Area Operations Manager - North America. At BP, they focused on optimizing manufacturing performance, implementing continuous improvement processes, and driving sustainable performance improvement.

Before their time at BP, McLaughlin worked at Castrol, where they were the Global Lean Manufacturing Program Manager and Plant Manager & Canadian Supply Chain Manager. Steve was responsible for deploying Lean Manufacturing Pilot sites, driving efficiency improvements, and optimizing the supply chain.

Earlier in their career, McLaughlin worked at Molson Coors Canada in various positions, including Operations Manager and Plant Engineer. Steve led production, packaging operations, and engineering & maintenance portfolios, oversaw a returnable bottle line, and optimized maintenance processes.

Overall, McLaughlin has extensive experience in operations management, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and supply chain optimization.

Steve McLaughlin attended McMaster University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2010, they completed a Supply Chain Management Certificate at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, Steve McLaughlin holds a Professional Engineers (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
