John Dessommes

John Dessommes has held a range of positions throughout their career. John began as a Loan Officer at BankSource Mortgage from 2003 to 2004, followed by a similar role at Dallas Home Loans from 2004 to 2005, and then at Bank of America from 2005 to 2009.

In 2011, John joined Insurance Technologies Corporation as an SEO Consultant, where they implemented SEO strategies for both large corporate websites and small to medium-sized insurance agency websites until an unknown end date in 2017.

After leaving Insurance Technologies Corporation, John worked at ReachLocal as an SEO Analyst from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they managed and drove organic traffic for a variety of clients across different industries.

John then transitioned to self-employment as a Freelance Digital Marketing Consultant from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, John joined DealerOn, Inc as an SEO Consultant. Here, they were responsible for handling day-to-day tasks, worked on SEO clients, and acted as the first point of contact for basic client or task-related questions. John'sduties included on-site optimizations, content creation, social media management, review responses, citation cleanup, SEO reporting, link outreach, and acquiring new links.

Most recently, John has been working as a Lead Digital Marketing Specialist at Zywave since November 2020.

John Dessommes has a Master's degree in Leadership & Management from The University of Texas at Dallas. John also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas. John completed their high school education at Jesuit Dallas. In addition, John has obtained various certifications, including Bing Ads Accreditation from Microsoft, and several certifications from Google, such as Google AdWords, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing.
