Workplace Tech

Alida, Total Experience Management (TXM) provider, announced the appointment of Google Chief Evangelist Nicolas Darveau-Garneau to its Board of Directors.

ServiceTitan, a software provider for the trades, announced that Anmol Bhasin has joined the company as CTO. Bhasin was most recently the SVP of Engineering for Einstein AI and Search initiatives at Salesforce.

OnBoard, a board intelligence platform used by more than 3,000 boards of directors, announced it has appointed Mick Cobb as CTO and Doug Wilson as Chief Product Officer. Cobb and Wilson have both been with OnBoard since early 2019.

Calabrio, a customer experience intelligence company, has named Tim Klein as its first SVP of Corporate Development. Prior to joining Calabrio, Klein was an early member of Lake Street Capital Markets.

Observe.AI, an intelligent workforce platform, has hired Kyle DiPentima as SVP of Sales and Hila Segal as VP of Product Marketing.

Fintech

DigniFi, a fintech platform for the automotive industry, announced that Neeraj Mehta has been named CEO. Mehta brings experience from his previous role as EVP of Corporate Strategy and Development for Synchrony.

Transact, a payment and mobile credential solutions provider for connected campuses, has recruited Mechelle King as its VP for Inclusion, Diversity, and Engagement. King served as VP of Human Resources Business Partner at Caliber Home Loans, Inc.

InsurTech

FastTrack has hired Pinny Tam as its Chief Information Security Officer. Tam was previously the VP and Head of Security Risk Assessments in the Information Security Department at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Transportation Tech

Apple has reportedly hired Tesla's former Director of Autopilot, Christopher “CJ” Moore, to work on its own self-driving technology.

Taiga Motors, a manufacturer of electric off-road vehicles, has named Eric Bussières as CFO, effective November 15, 2021. He previously served as EVP and CFO for Uni-Select.

Velodyne Lidar has appointed Theodore “Ted” L. Tewksbury, Ph.D. as its new CEO, effective November 10, 2021. Tewksbury most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Eta Compute.

Mullen Automotive, an electric vehicle manufacturer, announced the hiring of Dr. Marc Papakyriakou as Battery R&D Manager, Dr. George Qingyuan Hu as Vehicle Program Manager – China Operations, and Jillian Green as VP of Business & Legal Affairs.

Real Estate Tech

Spruce, a proptech company that enables online real estate transactions, has appointed Affirm’s Brian Kielian as its Head of Customer Experience, and OnDeck’s Blair Drake as its Head of Service Delivery.

Sensor Industries, an IoT technology company aiding water and energy conservation in multi-unit commercial properties, appointed Cara Aley as their new COO. Former COO Neil Lassila becomes the new Chief Product Officer.

Climate Tech

Geenex Solar has revealed that Sarah Hetznecker has been appointed CEO. Prior to joining Geenex, Sarah was the President of PSEG Solar Source, a subsidiary of PSEG Power.

Education Tech

Formative, a digital-learning and analytics platform for K-12 teachers, announced that Matt Kane has joined as its first Chief Revenue Officer. Kane joins Formative from Newsela.

Qstream, an enterprise microlearning app, announced Dan Whelan as its new CEO. He was previously the CEO of Revenue Management Systems.

E-Commerce

OfferUp, a mobile marketplace, has announced that Melinda Starbird has joined the company as Chief People & Diversity Officer. She most recently led Auth0's people team.

Guidefitter, an online marketplace for hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear, announced that Beth Brennan has joined the company as VP of Marketing. She was formerly Chief Marketing Officer for Go Fast Campers.

Shift revealed that Toby Russell will be stepping down as Co-CEO on Feb. 1, 2022. Co-founder and Co-CEO George Arison will serve as the automotive e-commerce website’s sole CEO.

Health Tech

MDisrupt, a platform for connecting digital health companies with healthcare experts, has named Dr. Chet Robson as its Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Robson has been one of the company's strategic advisors since January 2021.

Lunit, a medical AI provider, has hired Former CEO of Lexent Bio Ken Nesmith as its Chief Business Officer for Oncology, Former Senior Director at Foundation Medicine Marcus Skovhus as VP of Corporate Development, and Former FDA Regulatory Scientist Subok Park as Director of Clinical Strategy for Radiology Medical Affairs.

Valo Health, a technology company using human-centric data and AI-powered computation to transform drug discovery, development, and delivery, appointed Joe Chan as its Head of Engineering.

ESO, a data and software company serving emergency medical services (EMS) and hospitals, announced Kerri Swope as its new Chief Customer Officer. Prior to ESO, Swope was Head of Customer Operations at Gusto.

Zipari, a consumer experience platform built specifically for health insurance, today announced the appointment of Tabatha Erck as its first President. Erck joins from Remedy, where she served as COO.

Virgin Pulse, a provider of tech-enabled solutions to improve the health of its members, has named Andrew Reeves as its Chief Revenue Officer and Diane “Di” Holman as the company’s first global Chief People Officer. The company has also promoted Kristen Larson to lead Virgin Pulse’s Client Success team.

Media Tech

Zynga, an interactive entertainment company, announced that it has appointed Matt Wolf as its VP of Blockchain Gaming. Before joining Zynga, Wolf was the founder and CEO of D20.

IT

Somos, a registry management and data solutions company, has hired Chris Wendt as its VP of Systems Engineering. He was most recently, the Director of Comcast’s Innovation and Technology Team for Telecommunications and Unified Communications Engineering.

Cybersecurity

AttackIQ, a vendor of Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) systems, announced the appointment of Ken Schock as Chief Revenue Officer. Schock had been the CRO at Snow Software.

Cerberus Sentinel, a full-service cybersecurity and compliance services firm, has appointed Neil Stinchcombe as Chief Marketing Officer. Stinchcombe is the co-founder of Eskenzi PR.

Internet

Prospector, a search engine for the mining industry, has hired Nicholas LePan, the former Natural Resources Editor of Visual Capitalist, as its new Editor and Head of Content.
