Indeed CEO Chris Hyams is stepping down, with parent company Recruit Holdings’ CEO Hisayuki Idekoba returning to the role after six years. Hyams, who joined in 2010, will stay on as a board adviser through the transition. He’s shifting focus to urgent issues in responsible AI and human rights, after helping grow Indeed to 300M users and 75M+ hires. The job search engine platform plans to launch a new AI platform this fall to serve as a personalized talent agent for job seekers and employers. Read More

Instacart’s delivery route just got a new driver. CEO Fidji Simo is handing over the wheel to Chief Business Officer Chris Rogers as she heads to OpenAI to lead its new applications team. A former Apple exec who joined Instacart in 2019, Rogers takes the reins in August, while Simo stays on as board chair to ensure a smooth transition—and prove Instacart’s no pandemic-era fling. Amazon has formed a new innovation group called ZeroOne, focused on developing breakthrough consumer hardware and software products. Led by former Microsoft exec and Xbox creator J Allard, the team operates across Seattle, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale. David Droga will step down as CEO of Accenture Song at the end of the fiscal year, transitioning to vice chair of Accenture. Under his leadership since 2021, Droga unified acquired agencies and grew revenue from $12.5B to $19B. Ndidi Oteh will succeed him as CEO starting Sept. 1, with Nick Law taking on a new strategy and experience role. Read More
