Zendesk

Zendesk, a leader in the customer service software space, has recently appointed Sarah Gavin as Chief Communications Officer. She was previously Head of Google Cloud Storytelling and before that, Vice President of Global Communications & Corporate Brand at Expedia.

Shutterstock

Jaime Teevan, Microsoft’s Chief Scientist, joins the board of Shutterstock, a provider of stock photography, footage, music, and editing tools. Teevan has worked directly with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella as a technical advisor. With the rise of AI, Shutterstock hopes to utilize Teevan’s expertise in AI to capture the full potential of Shutterstock’s wealth of training data.

Blackberry

Blackberry has appointed Tim Foote as its new Chief Financial Officer following the resignation of his predecessor, Steve Rai. Tim joined Blackberry after their acquisition of Good Technology in 2015 and most recently served as CFO in Blackberry’s Cybersecurity division. He brings over 20 years of finance leadership experience into his new role.

Kraft Heinz

Kraft Heinz, owner of grocery-store brands like Oscar Mayer, has hired former PepsiCo Chief Marketing Officer, Todd Kaplan, as Kraft’s own Chief Marketing Officer for North America. This comes as the food brand begins to look to improve the nutritional value of its products to meet the demands of more health conscious consumers.
