Jeff Winter has over 15 years of marketing leadership experience and has led teams at Rocket Software, SAP and IBM.
Duck Creek Technologies announced Monday that marketing industry veteran Jeff Winter has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. He reports directly to CEO Michael Jackowski and is also a member of the Executive Committee.
In his new role, Winter is responsible for developing and executing the company’s global marketing strategy, including brand expansion, pipeline generation, product marketing and customer marketing.
Winter joins the insurance technology startup from Rocket Software, where he also served as CMO. There, he was responsible for rebuilding the marketing function at the mainframe and legacy platform space and was able to double brand awareness, grow top line revenue through lead generation programs and established a strategic marketing model with its lead partner, IBM.
Prior to Rocket Software, Winter was the Divisional CMO and Global VP for Pitney Bowes’ software and data business. He also spent ten years at SAP in a variety of marketing and leadership roles, as well as five years at IBM working across marketing and strategy roles.
“Jeff’s knowledge and experience are without compare, and his combination of skill and intuition make him a perfect choice to lead our corporate marketing department,” CEO Michael Jackowski said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to have him join our team.”
