Tech Giants

Netflix has hired Sergio Ezam as its Chief Talent Officer. He joins the media streaming giant after 20 years at PepsiCo. Source | Full Story

Microsoft has recruited Manik Gupta, Uber’s former product chief, as its new Corporate Vice President for Teams Consumer, Skype, and GroupMe. Source | Full Story

Luminar has announced that it has hired e VP of Business Operations and Alignment Sardar Gautham, Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Materials Cheryl Zula, Head of Corporate Development & Strategy Alex Vitale, and CIO Munir Hafez. Source | Full Story

Cerner has announced that Google Health VP Dr. David Feinberg will succeed Brent Shafer as the health information technology company’s CEO on October 1. Shafer’s decision to step away from the company has also spurred Cerner to name William Zollars as its new Independent Chairman. Source | Full Story

BMC has hired Eduarda Camacho as the new SVP of Customer Success and Chief Customer Officer. She had previously she was executive vice president and CCO at PTC. Source

BeyondTrust, a leader in Privileged Access Management (PAM), has named Marc Maiffret as CTO and appointed Morey Haber as Chief Security Officer. Source

Byrna Technologies announced that Mike Gillespie has been appointed as its COO, a newly created role, effective August 23, 2021. Most recently, from 2016 to 2019, he was the General Manager of Wafer Fab Operations in their Camas, WA plant. Source

Abaxx Technologies has appointed Steve Fray as its new CFO, effective August 17, 2021. Most recently, he served as CFO at Goldmoney. Source

Growing Companies

Modern Health has onboarded Gyre Renwick as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Before joining the digital health unicorn, Renwick was Chief Revenue Officer at Podium, where he led go-to-market teams. Source | Full Story

CloudBees has appointed Peter Meechan as Chief Corporate Development Officer and Jinny Jun as Chief People Officer. Meechan was the CCDO at Automation Anywhere and Jun joins from Trellia HR Advisory. Source | Full Story

Entrata has named Chris Harrington as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining the Utah-based property management software provider, he was the CEO of XANT. Source | Full Story

Tidal has named Sade Ayodele as the company’s Head of Global Communications, a newly created position. Until now she had been a VP at Taylor, a sports and entertainment focused PR and communications agency. Source | Full Story

Passport, a transportation software and payments company, announced that Sarah Ratcliffe has joined the team as SVP of Product. She was most recently the VP of Product Management at Applied Systems. Source

PlanSource, a cloud-based benefits administration technology provider, has hired Tom Signorello as its new CEO, while current CEO Dayne Williams steps into the role of Executive Chairman. Signorello was most recently CEO of Arcserve. Source

Archer Aviation, an developer of all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (“eVTOL”) aircraft, today announced two new hires: Tosha Perkins, who has joined the company as Chief People Officer and Andy Missan, who has joined as Chief Legal Officer. Source

Stampli, a AI-driven Accounts Payable (AP) automation starup, announced that Jeff Zamczyk has been promoted from VP of Sales and Customer Success to Chief Revenue Officer. Source

Seven Bridges, a bioinformatics ecosystem provider, announced the hire of David J. Ramos as its CTO. Ramos comes from CVS Health, where he led the engineering of the company's HealthCloud platform. Source

Armory, an open source continuous delivery software startup, announced that Jim Douglas will succeed Daniel R. Odio as its CEO. Douglas most recently served as president and CEO of Wind River. Source

Emerging Companies

Drips revealed it has added Casey Sylvia to its growing executive team as its VP of Client Operations to further adoption of its AI-powered platform. She joins Drips from SmartAction, a conversational AI virtual agent platform, where she served as Director of Operations. Source | Full Story

Bloom Credit, has named David Breland as its General Counsel and Head of Risk and Compliance. Breland previously served as the General Counsel of Simple Finance Technology Corp for two years. Source | Full Story

Spinwheel announced that it’s hired Sean Anderson as its Head of Platform and Chief Operating Officer. Anderson is a co-founder of Bento for Business and has been an advisor for the company since 2019. Source | Full Story

Canary Speech announced Aug. 19 that Jeremy McFadden has agreed to join the company as CFO. McFadden was previously the CFO of Acessa Health. Source

Armored Things also announced the addition of Jonathan Tice as Chief Revenue Officer. He was previously the Chief Customer Officer at FocusVision. Source

Sprout AI, a vertical farming technology company,has appointed Jon Olsen as interim CFO. His previous experience has included roles such as finance analyst for General Electric (GE) and Raytheon, finance manager for GE Oil & Gas, and corporate controller for Victory Rig Equipment and Volker Stevin.
