Walter Blom

Walter Blom has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Walter was the Commercial Director at 1-2-Taste since November 2020. Prior to that, from December 2018 to November 2020, they spent quality time with friends and family while exploring professional opportunities.

From 2017 to 2018, Walter served as the Managing Director at Chemelco International B.V. Walter was the New Business Director at Barentz from 2012 to 2016, responsible for finding new suppliers, contract negotiation, and supporting start-ups.

In 2010, they were the Commercial Director at Interfood Vonk, where they managed global trading in cheese and created a new global division.

Walter took a sabbatical from September 2009 to July 2010 for world travel.

From 2007 to 2009, they served as the MD of LI Frank Twello, leading the company and reorganizing production. Walter also held the role of Vice President Production Division at Barentz Europe during the same period.

Before that, Walter worked at Kerry Group from 1994 to 1998, holding various sales and account management positions.

Walter Blom pursued their education chronologically starting with their time at Het Van Hall Instituut from 1986 to 1991.
