Chris Sanders

Chris Sanders has a diverse work experience in the field of data and architecture. Chris started their career at WorkingRx as a Database Administrator in 2003 and then moved on to Nature's Sunshine and Xango in similar roles. In 2009, they joined Sorenson Communications as a Senior Database Administrator, where they played a crucial role in maintaining high availability and performing installations of SQL Server. Chris then transitioned to Ancestry.com as a Team Lead for Business Intelligence, leading the team responsible for data analysis and reporting. Chris also served as a Senior Database Engineer at Spritz Technology, Inc. and later as a Data Architect at Experticity. At Ancestry, they held increasingly senior positions, including Senior Manager and Director, responsible for data warehouse and visualization. Chris'smost recent positions include Senior Director at Ancestry, where they oversaw the enterprise data platform, and Vice President of Data and Architecture at 1-800 CONTACTS.

Chris Sanders received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Language and Literature from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
