John Watkins

John Watkins is currently the Associate Director of Engineering at 10up. John has been in this role since April 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Web Engineer at 10up from May 2020 to December 2020. John was also a Principal Engineer at XWP from May 2018 to March 2019. John has been working in web development and writing since 2008, when they started freelancing. John has also worked as a Communications Web Developer at Colby College from January 2016 to April 2018.

John Watkins has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor's degree in English from University of Colorado Denver.

John Watkins works with Elliott Stocks - Lead Web Engineer, Shahzaib Mushtaq - Systems Engineer, and Raquelle Fahle - Front End Engineer. John Watkins reports to Taylor Lovett, SVP, Engineering.
