Krista Scyphers

Krista Scyphers has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Krista worked at Intersport as an Account Executive, where they had significant day-to-day contact with major clients such as Cadillac and ESPN. In this role, they also oversaw and managed numerous Cadillac Championship Golf Clinics. Afterwards, they worked at James Cook Languages s.r.o. as an English Teacher, teaching adult business English and general English to working professionals. Krista then transitioned to Chicago Travel Consultants, Inc. (CTC) as an Account Coordinator, where they oversaw and implemented all stages of the event management process. Krista also negotiated contracts with local venues, restaurants, and suppliers for events. Following this, they worked at the Chicago Sun-Times as a Digital Advertising Sales Planner, working closely with Account Executives to develop customized proposals and optimize campaigns. Krista then moved on to Players Sport & Social Group as the Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, leading and developing marketing strategies and platforms. Krista negotiated contracts and served as the lead contact for clients at the brand and agency level. Krista also focused on building PSSG brand awareness through turnkey events. At the Sport and Social Industry Association, they were an active member on the Sponsorship Sub-Committee and led the North Central Region in sponsorship direction and knowledge share. At Legacy Marketing, they worked as a Senior Account Supervisor, leading and managing a team and developing strategic marketing programming and events for Absolut Elyx / Pernod Ricard. In 2018, they joined BirdieBox as the Director of Business Development, and then in 2019, they became a WISE Board Member and Event Co-Chair for WISE Chicago (Women in Sports & Events - Chicago Chapter). Currently, they are working at 160over90 as the Senior Director and Vice President of Client Services.

Krista Scyphers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration with an emphasis in Special Events from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Krista also has additional certifications in Mentor Foundations from Endeavor and in Teach English as a Foreign Language from TEFL Worldwide Prague.
